EDM Wire & Spark Erosion
A combination of 3 spark erosion machines and 3 wire erosion machines form an integral part of the company’s ability to provide a complete in house manufacturing service.
Surface & Cylindrical Grinding
The surface and cylindrical grinding section consists of Eleven Jones and Shipman surface grinders in various sizes, Three larger Jakobsen grinders, two cylindrical grinders a Jones and Shipman and a Ribon for precision shaft
Precision Fitting & Tooling
The development and manufacture of prototypes and specialised production tooling needs highly trained personnel with wide ranging skills and access to the right equipment. This has been an integral part of the success of The Potteries Die Company throughout its 86 year history.
CNC Milling & Turning
CNC milling section consists of five machines inclusive of the Hurco Hawk 30 and 40. All are linked to design department where CAM software is used to produce intricate profiles and surfaces.
Testing & Delivery
The Potteries Die Company prides itself in full traceability of all components and products. Conformity certificates can be supplied at an additional cost, against all materials used. This also applies to sub-contract processes used to fulfill the customers specifications.
